Pentart Play Date with Shannon Stefanacci of Pickin Boots Vintage 3/20/26
Pentart Playdate with Shannon!
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on Pentart workshop where we slow down, experiment, and really get to know these products together. This playdate is all about helping you feel comfortable and confident using Pentart—not just watching a demo, but actually understanding why you’d choose one product over another and how to make them work for your style of creating. Throughout the day, we’ll walk you through Pentart paints, mediums, textures, and finishes hands-on and live demonstrations. We’ll layer, play, test ideas, and talk through common questions and “what ifs” that come up when you’re creating at home. No rushing, no pressure—just learning through doing. This is a small-group workshop, which means plenty of time for questions, hands-on guidance, and creative conversations. You’ll leave with finished samples, new ideas, and a much better feel for how Pentart products can fit into your own projects—whether that’s furniture, mixed media, or decorative pieces.
This is a 4-hour workshop. 12PM-4PM est
Lunch will be provided
This workshop includes a Pentart Playbox that you can take home, featuring the products we used during our time together.
Our hope is that you leave feeling inspired, encouraged, and excited to keep creating.
We can’t wait to create with you.
Meet Shannon!
Since 2011, Shannon has been on a creative mission to rescue, reimagine, and transform discarded furniture and thrifted finds into beautifully renewed pieces. What began as a passion project in her garage grew into a beloved brick-and-mortar shop in Fort Myers, which she operated from 2012 until June 30, 2024. Throughout that time, Shannon built not only a business, but a vibrant creative community centered around learning, experimentation, and artistic expression.
With a background in education and a Master’s degree, Shannon has always been drawn to teaching and sharing her process. She loves breaking down techniques in a way that makes creativity feel accessible, approachable, and joyful for makers of all skill levels. From upcycling furniture to crafting unique projects and mastering thrift flips, her work is rooted in the belief that anything old can become something extraordinary.
Shannon was introduced to Pentart products as a Decoupage Queen retailer, and what started as curiosity quickly turned into a deep appreciation for the brand. Initially overwhelmed by the breadth of the product line, she began with the basics—but soon found herself adding new specialty products to every order. Through hands-on experimentation, she discovered how Pentart’s innovative formulas could elevate texture, depth, and finish in her projects. Today, Pentart has become an essential part of her creative toolkit, and she credits the brand’s superior quality with helping her bring her most imaginative ideas to life.
Shannon’s mission is simple: to share the process of transforming the old into the new, inspiring others to create with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
